Clicking on the refresh button while on the Facebook page can be amazingly therapeutic. Until a red icon pops up at the bottom right of the screen that is. Then the heart skips a tiny bit faster. The breath held just a tad bit longer. And the world momentarily- just for that short fragment of a second- seemed to exist for you. The dullness of your batting lids is washed away. Your mind zaps awake as if cold lemon had been squeezed directly onto your brain to send those neuronal impulses on its way. Could it be real? So you move your cursor ever so eagerly over the notification and click it. Only to find some stupid quiz awaiting your precious attention. You do not have time to waste on such idle rubbish, you have better things to do, like your world-altering law assignment. So you ignore the notification, and continue the therapeutic motion of left-clicking the refresh button. *click* *click* *click*

kisah banjir...
pagi tadi mcm biasa, tgh aku otw pi keja, sampai dekat2 malau tu, ada byk keta tersadai tepi jalan..mula2 aku ingatkan ada kenduri, pastu terpikiaq lagi, mungkin ada org mati kot..aku trus jln j.. tiba2 sampai kat satu tempat tu, semua keta tgh reverse balik..aku dgr ada sorang makcik ni bgtau, "banjir kat depan tu, xleh lalu.."Allah..dahla kul 730 dah masa tu.. trus aku call ayah aku. at first aku ingat nak pi ikut jln derang..tapi ayah aku suh ikut jalan selamat, pi kot alor staq, then trus pi kuala nerang.. disebabkan ni first time aku experience benda ni, n rasa takut nk drive pi keja sbb banjir2 ni, aku rasa better ikut ja ckp ayah aku. so, aku patah balik, masuk hiway, exit kat alor staq.. sampai kat depan hosp. sultanah bahiyah, jalan jammed! masa tu kul 750. huh, mmg x dan sampai kuala nerang nih.. masa tu cortisol level aku mmg sgt high.. sabaq ja la..dan buat pertama kalinya, hari ini aku cipta rekod drive keta 52 km selama sejam 20 minit untuk sampai kat hosp aku.
